BCCI Sahara remained unresolved tie with the Indian Cricket Board Works Committee to reject the demands of some long-time sponsor, refusing to make "exceptions" to the company that now has to decide about their future IPL.

After more than three hours of deliberation
its work a committee meeting, BCCI said it has communicated its decision in relation to the demands of business and sub wanted "a positive response."

BCCI also made clear that while it may show some flexibility, but it should not be expected to grant exemptions from the corporate giant that owns the costliest IPL team (Pune for Rs 1,700 crore to buy Warriors).

"The problems that had to be placed before the committee and we have to decide on the answer group, the Sahara and expect a favorable answer would be," BCCI President N Srinivasan told reporters after the meeting.

BCCI stand, which is interpreted as a tough, mean that the week long stalemate persists for some time to the Sahara to decide on its future activities.

Sahara, the sponsor of the Indian team for over 11 years, decided to part ways BCCI fourth February, complaining that the Board did not give a true account of his complaints about the players and the number of IPL matches.

The decision to severe all ties with BCCI was started a few hours before the IPL auction in Bangalore.

Srinivasan refused to go to specific requirements in sub, but made it clear that no exemptions.

"This is something that should be discussed between the Sahara and the BCCI behind closed doors. These are not questions that can be discussed openly," he said.

"One was that, as regards the number of matches played the previous year's issues of quantum of bank guarantees to the Sahara, and of course, and they are referred to the public the composition of their team of non-availability of some players," Srinivasan said.

"BCCI has responded positively to the context of its rules and the BCCI has also said that it is not possible to make exceptions, because the strict observance of the rules is essential to the integrity of the league," he explained.

It is known that a major bone of contention was the sub fresh demand that they should be allowed to field six foreign players during the IPL, something that was arguably rejected the BCCI.

Srinivasan skirted queries such as the Sahara Team India sponsorship for the future.

"The position is, what it was. We have responded to increased Sahara. We are looking forward to see what the reaction is," he said.

Sahara is a marquee player Yuvraj Singh, who is not playing the IPL due to his ongoing treatment of malignant lung tumors, Srinivasan said, "I said that as per the rules of the Sahara have a substitute so that Yuvraj is not a problem."

Srinivasan said the BCCI has not decided to move some of the issues of the Sahara in its participation in Pune Warriors to a strategic partner.

"BCCI has no objection to having a strategic partnership with Sahara" Srinivasan said.

Sub grant agreement was signed by BCCI updated first July 2010 to 31 December 2013 and paid Rs 3.34 crore per test match, one-day international and Twenty20 International in the new part. The deal is said to be worth Rs 532 crore.

Entered into the Sahara IPL bandwagon last year by purchasing Rs 1702 crore in Pune Warriors, making it the costliest franchise Twenty20 event.

BCCI stands to lose close to Rs 2,000 crore if a solution is found. However, the Board can find another sponsor to neutralize losses.

Srinivasan said the problem of finding sponsors is not rich in money management.

"Sponsors will not disappear. Any contractual arrangement, it has to offer scope for change. BCCI has not lost money. For the properties we have, we have enough sponsors. We have problems with the sponsor, we have shown, we will walk that extra mile to solve them, "he said.

Sahara was a decline in demand for other bank guarantee in view of the fact that a number of IPL matches was reduced from 94 to 74.
